The Mother Coven
It takes
a village.
We call ours
a coven.
Motherhood was never meant to be done alone.

But somewhere along the way, we lost the village.
The people who knew our children. The neighbours who popped in. The women we could sit with over a cup of coffee without needing a reason. The people who noticed when mum needed looking after too.
The Mother Coven is about bringing that back.
A modern village. A sisterhood.
Real friendships, real support, real life — and a place where you don't have to be anything other than yourself.
We've got each other.
Who holds
the mother?
We do.
There are plenty of places to take our babies.
Baby groups. Classes. Activities. Appointments. Places to talk about feeding, sleeping, milestones and everything our children need.
But where do we go?
Where does the mum go when she needs company?
When she wants to make friends.
When she needs someone to say, I've got you.
When she wants a coffee and a chat with women who get it.
Or when she wants to get dressed up, go out for the night and remember that she's still her.
Because motherhood doesn't stop you being you.
And becoming somebody's mum shouldn't mean losing the woman you were before.
The Mother Coven is for her, too.
What we’re building
This is
our village
The vision is simple: bring mums together and let real friendships grow from there.
Future ideas include free community groups, coffee meets, events, classes, an online community, support, nights out, conversations and friendship.

Some days you might need the Coven.
Other days, someone in the Coven might need you.
Sometimes we'll talk about motherhood.
Sometimes we absolutely won't.
Some things might help you through a difficult season. Some might teach you something. And some might exist for absolutely no other reason than getting out of the house, having a laugh and being around women who understand.
There is no right kind of mum here.
You don't need to have everything together.
You don't need to parent a particular way.
You don't need to turn up looking like you've got your shit together.
Come as you are.
We've got you.
From one mum to another
Why I started
The Mother Coven

I'm a mum of five, most recently to twins.
And I don't have a village.
I've experienced first-hand how lonely motherhood can feel, even when your life is incredibly full.
I've seen how many things exist for our babies and children while the person raising them can quietly disappear into the background.
I've felt that missing community myself.
And eventually I thought:
If the village isn't there, maybe we build one.
That's where The Mother Coven comes from.
Not because I have motherhood figured out. I don't.
But because I don't think we're supposed to figure all of it out alone.
I want to build the kind of community I wish I'd had. A sisterhood where mothers can meet, make genuine friendships, show up for each other and know somebody is thinking about them too.
A village where you can ask for help — and where, when you've got a little more to give, you can be that person for somebody else.
Because none of us should have to do this alone.
It takes a village.
We call ours a coven.
An independent sister brand
Meet our sister —
The Birth Coven
Pregnancy and birth need their own kind of support.
The Birth Coven is my separate doula practice, supporting women through pregnancy, birth and postpartum.
It's an independent business with its own purpose and identity, but the two Covens share something important:
Women deserve to feel supported, informed and like they have people in their corner.
She births. We hold.
